The Bolga Wave Basket is a colorful and striking, functional work of art. Traditionally used as colanders, separating millet from water these baskets are exclusively woven by the indigenous Gurune people of the town of Bolgatanga, the crafts center of Ghana.

Please note that many of our handmade items are one of a kind, perfectly imperfect, vintage and have indigenous decorative repair work which we believe adds to the intrinsic value and beauty of the items. No two items are exactly the same.
